Description: “The film begins with mystical chants, setting the stage for an unconventional story. The protagonist, Adama, is blind, but his heightened hearing compensates for his lack of sight. Adama harbors deep resentment toward his elder half-brother, Ibrahim, as their father, Ousmane, has two wives. Ibrahim also has a younger sister, Aissata, whom Adama cares for deeply. Ousmane’s marriage to Maimouna, Adama’s mother, caused tension, leading Ibrahim to distance himself from his father. This resentment pushed Ibrahim into a life of crime and drug trafficking from a young age.
The family stayed together until Adama lost his eyesight in an accident, which further fractured their relationships. In the present day, after their father’s death, Ibrahim becomes a crime lord, determined to seize control of everything his father left behind. However, his violent and aggressive methods clash with Adama’s values. Adama resolves to protect his mother and the life he has built, setting the stage for a gripping conflict.”
