Description: In Bruges (2008) is a gripping film about Ray, a rookie hitman, who accidentally kills a young boy while carrying out a hit on a priest. Following the tragic incident, Ray and his mentor, Ken, are sent to Bruges by their employer, Harry, to await further instructions. While Ken finds the city charming, Ray despises it and struggles with guilt over the boy’s death.
During their stay, Ray becomes involved with Chloë, a local drug dealer working as a production assistant. Their relationship takes a dark turn when Chloë’s ex-boyfriend confronts Ray, leading to a violent altercation. Meanwhile, Harry orders Ken to kill Ray, believing that killing a child is unforgivable. Ken, however, decides to spare Ray and helps him escape Bruges to start anew.
Enraged by Ken’s disobedience, Harry travels to Bruges to take matters into his own hands. The story unfolds with tension and moral dilemmas, exploring themes of guilt, redemption, and the consequences of violence.
