**Storyline:**
Scrat, a saber-toothed squirrel, tries to store his acorn for the winter but accidentally triggers a massive ice crack, causing an avalanche. Escaping narrowly, he encounters a herd of migrating prehistoric animals. Meanwhile, Sid, a clumsy ground sloth, is abandoned by his family and faces danger from two Brontotheres. He is rescued by Manny, a grumpy woolly mammoth traveling north. Despite Manny’s annoyance, Sid decides to follow him for protection.
In another part of the world, Soto, leader of a Smilodon pack, seeks revenge on a human tribe for killing half his pack. He plans to kill the tribe’s chief’s infant son, Roshan. During a raid, Roshan’s mother escapes with her child but is pursued by Soto’s lieutenant, Diego. Cornered, she jumps into a waterfall with Roshan. Diego is ordered to find the baby or face death.
