Originally scheduled for a premiere at the Fajr International Film Festival on February 1, 2015, technical issues delayed its release. A special screening for critics and journalists was held on February 12, 2015, at Cinema Farhang in Iran. The film officially released in Iran and at the Montreal World Film Festival on August 27, 2015. It was selected as Iran’s entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 88th Academy Awards.”
