**Storyline:**
The story begins with two cousins, Heena (Asin Thottumkal) and Bobby (Jacqueline Fernandez), who belong to rival families with a deep-seated hatred for each other. They quarrel over responsibilities related to the Animals’ Law Authority. Their fathers, Chintu (Rishi Kapoor) and Dabboo (Randhir Kapoor), are half-brothers who despise each other, and their wives share the same animosity. Chintu desires a wealthy son-in-law for his daughter Heena, while Dabboo seeks the same for his daughter Bobby. A marriage counselor named Aakhri Pasta (Chunky Pandey) is hired by both fathers to find suitable grooms. He introduces Mr. Babani (Virendra Saxena), whose son Jai (Shreyas Talpade) is considered as a potential match.
However, Chintu misunderstands Aakhri’s comment about Jai’s parentage, leading to a heated argument. Mr. Babani, who has a heart condition triggered by loud noises, suffers a heart attack due to Chintu’s shouting. Upon learning of this, Jai vows revenge. He enlists his friend Jolly (Ritesh Deshmukh), the son of billionaire J.D. (Mithun Chakraborty), to pose as a suitor for Heena and ruin the wedding at the last moment. Jolly, preoccupied with introducing his girlfriend J-Lo (Zarine Khan) to his father, suggests their former college mate Max (John Abraham), a pickpocket, to take on the task.
Jai and Max set out on their mission but mistakenly end up at Dabboo’s house instead of Chintu’s. Realizing their error, Jai remains determined to seek revenge. Jolly advises enlisting another former college mate, Sunil, aka Sunny (Akshay Kumar), to assist in their plan.
