Description: During the COVID-19 quarantine, a group of friends stays connected through weekly Zoom meetings. For their latest call, Haley hires a medium named Seylan to conduct a séance. One member, Teddy, leaves the chat due to interruptions from his girlfriend, Jinny. During the séance, Jemma claims to contact Jack, a friend who committed suicide, but later admits it was a lie after Seylan abruptly disconnects. Strange and terrifying events begin to unfold: Emma’s glass shatters, Haley’s chair is pulled by an unseen force, and Caroline sees a hanging corpse in her attic.
Haley reconnects with Seylan, who warns that Jemma’s prank may have summoned a demonic spirit pretending to be Jack. Seylan attempts to guide them in ending the séance, but the spirit interferes, causing more chaos and cutting off Seylan’s call once more. The group believes it’s over, but the spirit continues its rampage. Radina unknowingly walks past Alan’s hanging body, Caroline’s face is smashed into her camera, and Emma sees footprints of the spirit approaching her.
Radina tries to flee but is killed by the spirit. Caroline is seen desperately smashing her face on her desk, pleading for help. Haley and Jemma argue, blaming each other, until Haley is pulled off-screen. Jemma rushes to check on Haley in person. Teddy rejoins the call, only to face the spirit, now in the form of a decaying demon, which kills Jinny by breaking her neck.
