Description: Nick Hendricks and Dale Arbus are friends who hate their bosses. Nick works at a financial firm where his sadistic boss, Dave Harken, teases him with a potential promotion for months, only to give it to himself. Dale, a dental assistant, faces ongoing sexual harassment from his boss, Dr. Julia Harris, who threatens to expose a false affair unless he complies. Their friend Kurt Buckman enjoys his job at a chemical company until his boss, Jack Pellit, dies unexpectedly. The company is then taken over by Jack’s incompetent and cocaine-addicted son, Bobby, whose mismanagement jeopardizes the company’s future.
One evening, over drinks, Kurt jokingly suggests that their lives would improve if their bosses were gone. Despite initial hesitation, they agree to kill their employers. Seeking help, they meet Dean “Motherfucker” Jones, an ex-convict who becomes their “murder consultant.” Jones advises them to target each other’s bosses to avoid suspicion and make the deaths appear accidental.
The trio begins surveillance. At Bobby’s house, Kurt steals his phone. Later, they visit Harken’s home, where Kurt and Nick go inside while Dale waits outside. Harken returns and confronts Dale for littering but has an allergic reaction to peanut butter on the trash. Dale saves him with an EpiPen, but Kurt and Nick mistake it for an attempted murder and flee, accidentally leaving Bobby’s phone behind.
The next night, Kurt watches Julia’s home but ends up being seduced by her. Meanwhile, Nick and Dale prepare to carry out the murders. Harken discovers Bobby’s phone in his bedroom, suspects his wife of cheating, and confronts Bobby, killing him. Nick witnesses the murder and flees, triggering a traffic camera in the process.
