Description: Holiday: A Soldier is Never Off Duty (2014) is a Hindi action thriller film. The story revolves around Virat Bakshi, a Captain in the Defence Intelligence Agency (DIA), a secret wing of the Indian Army. When Virat returns to Mumbai for a holiday, his parents introduce him to Saiba Thapar, a professional boxer, hoping he will marry her. Initially, Virat dismisses her as old-fashioned, but after witnessing her boxing skills, he quickly falls in love with her.
During his stay, Virat, along with his friend Sub-Inspector Mukund Deshmukh, witnesses a bomb explosion while chasing a suspicious man named Ajmal Lateef. Virat captures Ajmal, who turns out to be a terrorist, but he escapes from the hospital with the help of a police mole. Determined to stop the threat, Virat kidnaps Ajmal again and uncovers a plot involving 12 sleeper agents planning serial bombings in Mumbai.
Virat discovers that the attacks are scheduled for the day of his colleague Joel’s wedding, where many Army officers will gather. With the help of his fellow officers and Mukund, Virat tracks down and neutralizes the bombers, including Ajmal, before they can execute their deadly plan. The film highlights Virat’s dedication and bravery as he ensures the safety of innocent lives.
