Description: Here We Are: Notes for Living on Planet Earth is a film inspired by Oliver Jeffers’ story, with narration by Meryl Streep. The story follows young Finn, voiced by Jacob Tremblay, whose curiosity and love for learning are nurtured by his parents, voiced by Ruth Negga and Chris O’Dowd. Finn’s favorite place is the Museum of Everything. On Earth Day, his parents encourage him to explore nature with a bike ride through Central Park. However, Finn struggles to connect with the natural world and cleverly convinces them to visit the museum instead.
At the museum, Finn embarks on a magical journey across planet Earth. He discovers the diversity of people and animals, ventures to the depths of the ocean, and even explores outer space. Through this adventure, Finn gains a newfound appreciation for the beauty of nature— the trees, butterflies, and the world around him— transforming his perspective on life and the planet.
