Description: Sanju, a carefree young man from Kakinada, cherishes his life with his loving parents and close friends. Initially determined to stay in his hometown, he eventually decides to move to Hyderabad upon learning his parents’ wish for him to secure a promising IT job. Arriving in Hyderabad, Sanju stays at the home of Viswanath, a friend of his mother Gayatri.
During the journey to Hyderabad, Sanju encounters Anupama, whom he teases after overhearing her criticize the boys of Kakinada. To his surprise, Anupama turns out to be Viswanath’s daughter, and Sanju must share a home with her and take her to college daily. Despite Anupama’s initial disdain for Sanju, she gradually warms up to his kind-hearted and family-oriented nature, and they form a strong friendship.
Meanwhile, Sanju learns about Viswanath’s unwavering commitment to keeping his word, even at the cost of sacrificing his dream of making Anupama a doctor. Sanju also develops a romantic relationship with Reethu, a colleague at his office. As his bond with Anupama deepens, he realizes his feelings for her surpass mere friendship. However, before he can confess his love, Viswanath arranges Anupama’s engagement to Karthik, leaving Sanju heartbroken.
As Sanju and Viswanath grow closer, Viswanath faces a moral dilemma. Bound by his promise to remain Sanju’s friend, he struggles to navigate the situation—supporting Sanju’s pursuit of Anupama’s love while striving to protect her from emotional turmoil. The story explores themes of friendship, love, and the complexities of keeping one’s word.
