**Storyline:**

His companion, Mona Darling, suggests he flee the country disguised in a gorilla suit, inspired by a news report about a hit film titled *Monster Monkey*.
One humorous moment involves Makwana watching monkey videos to prepare for his act. With the costume ready, Mona hires Charlie, a naive young man, to drive Makwana across the country to Diu. Played by Aadar Jain, Charlie is a kind but simple-minded individual with no street smarts or practical skills. Unaware of his passenger’s true identity, Charlie believes he’s transporting an actual gorilla, not a fugitive.
In the world of *Hello Charlie*, it seems plausible for a gorilla to change a flat tire on an Indian highway without attracting attention. Charlie never questions the gorilla’s fur, skin, or tire-changing abilities. To add to the chaos, a real gorilla escapes from a plane crash, leading to a case of mistaken identity. Charlie also faces conflict with a scheming circus owner who wants to acquire the “talented” gorilla. The film even includes a Punjabi item number performed in a circus tent in Gujarat, despite being marketed as a children’s film.
