Description: In West Texas, brothers Toby and Tanner Howard execute a series of bank robberies targeting the Texas Midlands Bank. While the heists are carefully planned, Tanner’s reckless behavior puts them at risk, causing tension between the siblings. After their crimes, they bury their getaway vehicle on their family ranch, which is facing foreclosure due to a reverse mortgage taken out by their late mother. Determined to secure a better future for his estranged children, Toby plans to use the stolen money to settle the debt, especially since oil has been discovered on their land.
Meanwhile, Texas Rangers Marcus Hamilton and Alberto Parker are assigned to track down the brothers. Hamilton, nearing retirement, analyzes the robberies and deduces the brothers’ methods and personalities. Despite his efforts, Tanner continues to take unnecessary risks, robbing another bank while Toby waits nearby. The brothers then launder the stolen money at an Indian casino in Oklahoma, converting their gambling winnings into a check made out to the bank to make the funds untraceable.
As the stakes rise, Hamilton identifies a pattern in the robberies and anticipates their next target. During the final heist, a violent shootout erupts when a security guard and an armed civilian confront the brothers, leaving both dead. Later, Toby is shot during an ambush by armed townspeople. In a desperate escape, the brothers split up—Toby takes the money while Tanner creates a distraction to evade capture. Their journey is a tense battle against time, law enforcement, and their own choices.
