**Storyline:**
Nikhil (Sidharth Malhotra) is a struggling businessman who believes he is in love with Karishma (Adah Sharma), an actress. He is a man of principle, committed to the idea that once he commits to someone, he should remain loyal. However, when Nikhil asks Karishma’s father for financial help to secure a business contract, they mock and insult him, refusing to lend the money. This leaves Nikhil in a difficult position, forcing him to prove himself without their support.
Things take an unexpected turn when Nikhil crosses paths with Meeta (Parineeti Chopra), Karishma’s younger sister, whom he briefly met seven years ago. Meeta, an IIT graduate with a PhD in Chemical Engineering, is an eccentric genius with quirky habits. Seven years ago, she ran away to China after stealing money from her father (Manoj Joshi), which led to his heart attack. Now, just a week before Nikhil and Karishma’s wedding, Meeta returns to reconcile with her family. Karishma, fearing her sister’s presence might disrupt the wedding, asks Nikhil to keep Meeta away from their father.
Meeta, however, has her own agenda. She plans to steal again, but her growing bond with Nikhil over the next seven days changes her priorities. As they spend time together, Nikhil and Meeta develop feelings for each other. Despite this, Nikhil pulls back, unwilling to betray Karishma. Soon, he discovers that Meeta has taken a massive loan for her research by forging her father’s signature and is now in serious trouble. With a strict deadline to repay the loan and only three days left, she plans to steal from her father’s account to save herself from dangerous creditors.
Nikhil helps Meeta hack into her father’s account but encourages her to apologize and make amends with her family. As Meeta reunites with her family, Nikhil realizes he is about to marry the wrong woman. The story unfolds as Nikhil navigates his emotions, loyalty, and the unexpected love that blossoms between him and Meeta.
