Description: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005) is a fantasy film that continues the epic saga of the young wizard Harry Potter. The story begins with Harry experiencing a nightmare in which a Muggle caretaker, Frank Bryce, is killed after overhearing Lord Voldemort conspiring with Peter Pettigrew and another mysterious man. Following this, Harry attends the Quidditch World Cup with the Weasleys and Hermione, where Death Eaters wreak havoc, and the Dark Mark is summoned by the man from Harry’s dream.
At Hogwarts, Professor Albus Dumbledore introduces Alastor “Mad-Eye” Moody as the new Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher and announces the Triwizard Tournament—a competition between three magical schools. Only students aged seventeen and older are allowed to participate. The Goblet of Fire selects three champions: Cedric Diggory representing Hogwarts, Viktor Krum from Durmstrang Institute, and Fleur Delacour from Beauxbatons Academy of Magic. However, Harry is unexpectedly chosen as a fourth champion, despite being underage. Due to a binding contract, Dumbledore cannot remove Harry from the competition.
In the first challenge, each champion must retrieve a golden egg guarded by a dangerous dragon. Harry succeeds and discovers clues about the second task within the egg. During the Yule Ball, a formal Christmas Eve dance, Ron becomes jealous when Hermione attends with Viktor, while Harry’s crush, Cho Chang, accompanies Cedric. The second task requires the champions to rescue someone valuable from underwater. Although Harry finishes third, he is promoted to second place for his bravery after saving Fleur’s sister, Gabrielle, alongside his friend Ron.
