**Storyline:**
Fourteen-year-old Hayley Stark and 32-year-old photographer Jeff Kohlver engage in a sexually charged, flirtatious online chat. They agree to meet at a coffeehouse, and Jeff convinces Hayley to accompany him to his house, enticing her with the promise of something “insane.” Once there, Jeff prepares drinks, but Hayley refuses, stating she was taught never to consume a drink she didn’t mix herself. Instead, she makes screwdrivers for both of them.
Jeff gives her a tour of his home, showcasing photographs on his walls—mostly of underage, partially clothed girls. Hayley asks Jeff to photograph her, but before he can, he loses consciousness. When Jeff wakes up, he finds himself tied to a chair. Hayley reveals she has been tracking him through online chats and drugged him, accusing him of being a sexual predator and murderer. Jeff denies the allegations, claiming his intentions were innocent.
Hayley searches Jeff’s house and discovers a gun and a safe containing photos, including one of Donna Mauer, a local missing girl. As Jeff continues to deny the accusations, he manages to knock Hayley to the ground, temporarily incapacitating her. He rolls the chair into his room and retrieves the gun Hayley had left on his bed.
