Description: Inspector General Chandrasekhar, a senior IPS officer (played by Mohanlal), leads the newly established Metro Crime Stopper Cell in Kochi. He arrests Jerome, a psychologically disturbed individual, and rescues three kidnapped girls. However, Jerome is sent to a psychiatric facility for treatment instead of facing imprisonment, thanks to Chandrasekhar’s ex-wife, Deepthi (Priyamani), a lawyer who represents him. It is revealed that Jerome’s actions were triggered by the girls mocking him earlier.
Chandrasekhar receives an anonymous message from someone calling himself “Z,” challenging him to predict how he will eliminate his targets one by one. Chandrasekhar is drawn into investigating a series of murders: coffee shop owner Alice (Fathima Babu), renowned singer Beena Thomson (Roma Asrani), and prominent businesswoman Chandrika Narayanan (Seetha). Each murder follows a puzzling alphabetical pattern, and the victims bear a cross-shaped mark on their foreheads.
Meanwhile, Chandrasekhar’s daughter is preparing for a play directed by famous actor Mark Roshan (Arjun Nandhakumar). Chandrasekhar discovers that the three murdered women were involved in the death of a man named Paul Mathew, which was staged as a suicide. Deepthi confesses this to Chandrasekhar, who realizes she is the next target.
During their daughter’s play, Chandrasekhar and Deepthi encounter Victor Rosetti (Babu Antony), a religious fanatic who had been present at all three crime scenes disguised as a salesman and had been stalking Deepthi. Chandrasekhar identifies a chess-like strategy in the game between him and the mysterious “Z.”
Believing a mastermind is behind Victor Rosetti, Chandrasekhar decides to play a “queen’s gambit.” Ultimately, he corners Victor on a theater rooftop, where Victor commits suicide by jumping to his death.
