Description: After losing his father, Zach Cooper and his mother, Gale, relocate from New York City to the quiet town of Madison, Delaware. While adjusting to their new surroundings, Zach meets his neighbor Hannah, but her overly protective father insists he keeps his distance. At Madison High School, where Gale works as vice-principal, Zach befriends Champ, a socially awkward student. One evening, Hannah invites Zach to explore an abandoned amusement park, where they begin to form a bond. However, Hannah’s father once again warns Zach to stay away, hinting at potential danger.
The next night, Gale leaves to oversee a school dance, leaving Zach with his aunt Lorraine. Concerned for Hannah’s safety, Zach tricks her father into visiting the local police station while he and Champ sneak into his house. Inside, they discover a bookshelf filled with locked manuscripts, each containing stories from the *Goosebumps* series. Out of curiosity, Zach unlocks *The Abominable Snowman of Pasadena*, accidentally releasing the monster. With Hannah’s help, they chase the creature to a nearby ice rink, where her father reappears and traps it back in the manuscript.
Hannah’s father reveals his true identity as R. L. Stine, the creator of the *Goosebumps* series. He explains that he originally wrote these stories to cope with bullying, but his vivid imagination brought the monsters to life, forcing him to imprison them in the manuscripts. Back at the house, the group encounters Slappy the Dummy from the *Night of the Living Dummy* series, who has escaped his manuscript. Seeking revenge, Slappy burns his manuscript and flees with the others. Stine and the kids are then attacked by the lawn gnomes from *Revenge of the Lawn Gnomes*, forcing them to flee. Slappy begins releasing more monsters, causing chaos and destruction across Madison. Meanwhile, Lorraine is confronted by Fifi the Vampire Poodle from *Please Don’t Feed the Vampire!*.
