**Storyline:**
Gopal, played by Ajay Devgn, lives with his wife Ekta (Kareena Kapoor), who is obsessed with Indian soap operas. His household also includes his sister Esha (Amrita Arora) and mute brother-in-law Lucky (Tusshar Kapoor), who is in love with a deaf girl named Daisy (Anjana Sukhani). One night, while returning from work, Gopal rescues a young woman named Meera (Celina Jaitly) from a group of dangerous goons. Due to unforeseen circumstances, they decide to spend the night on a friend’s yacht.
The next day, Gopal returns home only to face Ekta’s suspicion. She accuses him of having affairs with his female colleagues and doubts his story. To avoid further trouble, Gopal fabricates a tale about spending the night with a fictional friend named Anthony Gonsalves. However, Ekta remains unconvinced and decides to contact Anthony to verify Gopal’s claims.
Meanwhile, Gopal encounters Laxman Prasad (Shreyas Talpade), who is Meera’s boyfriend and has come for a job interview. Unaware of Laxman’s connection to Meera, Gopal asks him to impersonate Anthony and convince Ekta that his story is true in exchange for the job. Laxman agrees, but the plan takes an unexpected turn when it turns out that the address Ekta used to contact Anthony is real.
Adding to the chaos, Gopal discovers that a dead body has been found at the location where he saved Meera. As the situation spirals out of control, Laxman and Lucky hire a woman named Munni (Ashwini Kalsekar), who needs money to free her boyfriend Vasuli (Mukesh Tiwari) from jail. However, Munni is kidnapped by the murderer, leaving everyone in further turmoil.
The story unfolds with comedic twists and turns as the characters navigate misunderstandings, secrets, and unexpected events.
