The story revolves around individuals who take up arms, believing they are serving a greater cause, much like Nathuram Godse or the film’s protagonist, Vishwanath. Vishwanath, a wealthy businessman based in London, lives with his wife. The narrative begins with a skilled police officer, Vaishali, who leaves her engagement ceremony to handle a hostage situation involving a pregnant woman. Despite her expertise in negotiation, the crisis escalates as her superiors consider lethal force.
The first half of the film fails to deliver the expected intensity, with the audience left waiting for dramatic moments. Vishwanath, appearing via a computer screen, manipulates the situation while holding senior officers captive, having already killed one.
Though the storyline is somewhat predictable, the lead performances keep viewers engaged. Director Gopi Ganesh draws inspiration from the Korean film *Negotiation* but attempts to localize the plot by introducing themes of unemployment. During a trip to India for a college reunion, Vishwanath is devastated to learn that one of his friends died due to joblessness. This prompts him to return to London and express his desire to invest his wealth in creating employment opportunities in India. Conflict arises when politicians offer their assistance, seeking a stake in his ventures.
While the film borrows heavily from its Korean counterpart, efforts to adapt the story to an Indian context add a layer of relevance to the narrative.
