Only Riya, a TV journalist and Mona’s identical twin, believes in him and seeks the help of his former professor, Pinakesh, to save Aryan. As Pinakesh navigates the city to solve the intricate mystery, the narrative feels familiar, evoking a sense of déjà vu.
The reason lies in Sabyasachi’s portrayal of Pinakesh, which mirrors his performance as Feluda in Satyajit Ray’s works. However, this film doesn’t carry the same depth. Parambrata delivers a solid performance as Aryan, but the confusing plot overshadows his efforts. Parno shines as the straightforward Riya but lacks the charisma to fully embody the glamorous Mona.
One noticeable detail is the heavy branding of a specific eyewear brand throughout the film. From the lead characters to the minor ones, everyone sports stylish glasses—even Aryan in jail. This detail is hard to miss and adds another layer to the story.
