**Plot Summary:**
In 1962, aboard the Italian ocean liner MS Antonia Graza, passengers are dancing to Francesca’s performance of *Senza Fine*. A young girl named Katie sits alone until the ship’s captain invites her to dance. Suddenly, a lever is pulled, tightening a wire cord that snaps and slices across the dance floor, killing most of the passengers and crew. Katie survives as the captain pushes her out of harm’s way, sacrificing himself in the process.
Forty years later, a salvage crew—Captain Sean Murphy, Maureen Epps, Greer, Dodge, Munder, and Santos—is approached by Jack Ferriman, a weather service pilot who spots a derelict ship in the Bering Sea. Ferriman informs them they can claim the vessel by towing it to port. The crew sets out on their salvage tug, the Arctic Warrior, and discovers the ship is the long-missing Antonia Graza. Onboard, they find nine boxes filled with gold bars.
As supernatural occurrences unfold, the group decides to leave with the gold. However, an invisible force sabotages the Arctic Warrior with a propane gas leak, causing an explosion that kills Santos. Forced to repair the Graza, the crew faces further horrors. Greer encounters Francesca’s ghost, who seduces him and leads him to his death. Murphy meets the ghost of the Graza’s captain, who reveals the ship’s dark past involving the murder of passengers and crew for the gold. Murphy, consumed by hallucinations, is locked up by the others and later found drowned.
Epps meets Katie’s ghost, who uncovers the truth: the sole survivor of the Lorelei, a sinking cruise ship, incited the Graza’s crew to commit mass murder for the gold. After killing the passengers, the crew turned on each other. The story takes a chilling turn as Epps confronts the sinister forces haunting the ship.
