Description: In Romania, a French monk named Moreau, who struggles with alcoholism, alerts a monastery about an imminent attack by the devil’s forces. Their target is a young boy named Danny. During the assault, Moreau attempts to aid Danny and his mother Nadya in escaping, but Nadya, mistrustful, shoots at Moreau and flees with her son. Convinced that only the Ghost Rider can protect the boy, Moreau sets out to seek his help.
Years earlier, Johnny Blaze had become the Ghost Rider, a vengeful, fiery entity that consumes the souls of sinners and preys on evil, regardless of the severity of their crimes. Haunted by the spirit within him, Blaze has been in hiding, battling its influence. Moreau offers Blaze a deal: if he helps protect Danny, Moreau will free him from the Ghost Rider’s curse.
Meanwhile, Nadya and Danny are pursued and captured by a group led by Nadya’s ex-boyfriend, Ray Carrigan. As Carrigan prepares to execute Nadya, the Ghost Rider intervenes, eliminating several of Carrigan’s men. Nadya manages to distract the Rider, who is then injured by a grenade attack.
Later, Johnny wakes up in a hospital, ignoring his injuries to convince Nadya to accept his assistance. Carrigan reports the Ghost Rider’s interference to the demon Mephistopheles, who appears in the form of Roarke. Roarke casts a spell over the phone to shield Danny from the Rider’s detection. Warning Carrigan that the spell won’t protect him indefinitely, Roarke provides further instructions to handle Danny.
Nadya reveals to Blaze that she once made a pact with Roarke: in exchange for her life after she was near death, Roarke impregnated her, making Danny his vessel to gain immense power in the mortal world. Danny attempts to escape but breaks his ankle, leading to his recapture.
As the stakes rise, Johnny Blaze must confront his inner demon to save Danny and prevent Roarke from unleashing chaos.
