The family finds representation in Indrans Kaliaperumal, a struggling lawyer with nothing to lose. During the trial, Indrans uncovers crucial flaws in the investigation, including the fact that the victim was wrongly medicated with a high dose of barbiturates, which invalidates her testimony. Additionally, he meets the victim’s father, who confesses that he pressured his daughter to identify Brahmananda as the culprit, believing him to be guilty. This revelation casts doubt on the evidence against Brahmananda, ultimately leading to his conditional bail.
