Description: In the near future, weapons expert James McCullen develops a powerful nanotech-based weapon called nanomites, capable of destroying anything from tanks to entire cities. These nanobots can only be deactivated by a kill switch. McCullen’s company, M.A.R.S., sells four warheads to NATO, and a team of American soldiers, Duke and Ripcord, are tasked with delivering them. However, their convoy is ambushed by the Baroness, who Duke recognizes as his former fiancée, Ana Lewis. Duke and Ripcord are rescued by members of the G.I. Joe team—Scarlett, Snake Eyes, Breaker, and Heavy Duty. They take the warheads to The Pit, G.I. Joe’s command center in Egypt, where they meet General Hawk, the team’s leader.
McCullen secretly uses the same nanotechnology to build an army and plans to unleash chaos using the warheads, aiming to establish a new world order. With the help of a tracking device, he locates the G.I. Joe base and sends Storm Shadow and the Baroness to retrieve the warheads, assisted by Zartan. After a fierce battle, they succeed and take the warheads to Baron DeCobray, the Baroness’s husband, who weaponizes them using a particle accelerator. DeCobray is later killed by Storm Shadow.
The G.I. Joe team pursues the villains to Paris but fails to stop them from launching a missile at the Eiffel Tower. The missile releases the destructive nanomites, causing massive damage before Duke manages to activate the kill switch. However, Duke is captured and taken to McCullen’s Arctic base, setting the stage for a final showdown.
