Description: Fukrey 3 is a 2023 Hindi-language comedy film directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba and produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani under the banner of Excel Entertainment. This film marks the third installment of the Fukrey franchise and follows the sequel to Fukrey Returns (2017). It features a talented ensemble cast including Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma, Manjot Singh, Richa Chadha, and Pankaj Tripathi. Fukrey 3 was released in theaters on September 28, 2023.
The story picks up after the events of the previous film, where the Government of Delhi hands over a store named “Janta Store” to Hunny, Choocha, and Lali. With the assistance of Pandit, they try to manage the store, which is in disarray while they earn a living through various small jobs. Bholi Punjaban aims to run for election for the Water Section of Delhi, supported by Dhingra, a corrupt businessman who exploits the poor while operating a water park. To gain favor with the impoverished public, Bholi cleans a public toilet, but Choocha’s small act of kindness at the same location wins the people’s affection.
During one of her rallies, Bholi promises to eliminate the water mafia in Delhi and provide free water to the public. Dhingra seeks to monopolize the water supply in Delhi and backs Bholi for this reason. Hunny, Pandit, and Lali decide to run against Choocha in the election, as he is gaining popularity due to his antics. However, Choocha inadvertently reveals their plans to Bholi, who then schemes to send him and the Fukras to South Africa with her bodyguards, Eddie and Bobby, to explore Shinda’s diamond mine. Choocha is offered money to use his Deja-Chu ability to locate diamonds. While in South Africa, Shinda’s niece falls for Choocha. After ten days, still without any Deja-Chu results, Hunny realizes Bholi’s plan and attempts to escape from South Africa. Eventually, Choocha experiences a Deja-Chu moment and begins to dig at a specific spot, where he discovers a diamond and is caught by Shinda’s niece.
