Description: Frequency 2000 is a gripping film that follows NYPD detective John Sullivan as he grapples with emotional detachment after losing his father, firefighter Frank, in a fire during his childhood. Living in his old family home, John’s girlfriend Samantha leaves him, and his friend Gordo tries to repair a ham radio that once belonged to Frank. On the anniversary of his father’s death, John discovers the radio mysteriously working during an intense aurora borealis event.
To his astonishment, John realizes he is communicating with his father in 1969. He warns Frank about the fire that would claim his life, and Frank survives after recalling John’s warning. This changes John’s present: his father’s survival alters the timeline, but it also inadvertently allows a dormant serial killer, the “Nightingale,” to resurface.
