The story revolves around a group of teenagers discussing urban legends of a notorious serial killer known as the Blissfield Butcher. The Butcher invades a mansion, kills the teenagers, and steals an ancient dagger named La Dola.
The next day, Millie Kessler, a bullied high school student, attends her school’s homecoming football game as the mascot. While waiting for a ride near the school, she is attacked by the Butcher. He stabs her with La Dola, resulting in both of them suffering identical wounds. Millie’s sister, Char, a police officer, arrives and scares the Butcher away. The police seize the dagger and launch a manhunt for the killer.
The following morning, Millie and the Butcher discover they have switched bodies. The Butcher, now in Millie’s body, heads to Blissfield Valley High School, where he kills Millie’s tormentor, Ryler, by locking her in a cryotherapy tank. He then murders Millie’s woodshop teacher, Mr. Bernardi, with a table saw, taking advantage of his innocent appearance to avoid suspicion.
Meanwhile, Millie, trapped in the Butcher’s body, convinces her friends Nyla and Josh of her true identity. They research La Dola and find out that Millie must stab the Butcher with the dagger before midnight to reverse the body swap; otherwise, the change will become permanent.
The film combines horror and humor as Millie races against time to reclaim her body and stop the Butcher’s rampage.
