Description: Victory Frankenstein, a young and intelligent scientist, lives in the peaceful town of New Holland with his parents and his cherished Bull Terrier, Sparky. Despite his brilliance, Victor is somewhat isolated from his peers, including his neighbor Elsa Van Helsing, the mischievous Edgar “E” Gore, the gullible Bob, the confident Toshiaki, the creepy Nassor, and the eccentric “Weird Girl.” Victor’s bond with Sparky keeps him detached from his classmates, though they admire his intellect.
Concerned about his son’s solitude, Victor’s father encourages him to engage in activities beyond science, such as baseball. During his first game, Victor hits a home run, but Sparky, chasing after the ball, is tragically struck and killed by a car, leaving Victor heartbroken.
Inspired by his science teacher Mr. Rzykruski’s experiment with electricity and dead frogs, Victor decides to resurrect Sparky. Using a lightning bolt in his attic laboratory, Victor successfully brings Sparky back to life. However, the reanimated dog escapes and roams the neighborhood, where Edgar discovers the secret and blackmails Victor into teaching him how to revive the dead. Together, they reanimate a goldfish, but it turns invisible due to a mistake in the process.
Edgar boasts about the experiment to his classmates, but their skepticism grows when the fish disappears, leading them to believe reanimated beings have a short lifespan. Meanwhile, Toshiaki and Bob, fearing failure in the upcoming science fair, build a soda bottle rocket that injures Bob, resulting in Mr. Rzykruski being blamed and fired. Before leaving, the teacher advises Victor to use his scientific knowledge responsibly.
