**Storyline:**
Kevin, Sam, and Rob engage in a game called “Foolproof,” where they meticulously devise plans to infiltrate and burglarize various targets. However, they never actually execute these heists, instead simulating them using the necessary technical and physical skills required for such operations. They follow strict rules, such as using the same equipment as the target and avoiding firearms entirely.
Their routine is disrupted when a notorious criminal, Leo Gillete, breaks into Sam’s apartment and steals their plans for a jewelry warehouse heist, which he successfully carries out. Leo then blackmails the trio into designing and executing a scheme to steal $20 million in bonds from a bank. Faced with incriminating evidence, the group reluctantly agrees.
Tensions rise within the group as Rob forms an unexpected bond with Leo, while Kevin and Sam try to thwart his plans. They manage to obtain the security codes to the safe and successfully swap the bonds. However, the situation takes a dark turn when Leo and Rob force Kevin into an elevator and crash it. Upon retrieving the bonds, Sam shoots Rob, and Leo shoots Sam. With all three friends seemingly dead, Leo escapes with the bonds.
In a twist, it is revealed that the trio had replaced Leo’s gun with one loaded with blanks. Sam and Kevin survive and are reunited with Rob. Meanwhile, Leo returns to his hideout to find it engulfed in flames, set by the gang to destroy evidence against them, while planting incriminating evidence against Leo for the recent burglary. Detective Mason apprehends Leo, and the three friends drive away, leaving their troubles behind.
