Description: Firestarter is a 2022 American science fiction horror film directed by Keith Thomas, with a screenplay by Scott Teems based on Stephen King’s novel of the same name. Serving as a reboot of the 1984 film adaptation, the story follows Andy McGee, who must protect his young daughter Charlie after she develops pyrokinesis. Their lives spiral into chaos as they become targets of a secret government agency called “The Shop,” accompanied by a relentless Native American bounty hunter, John Rainbird, who seeks to exploit Charlie’s abilities for sinister purposes.
