**Storyline:**
Chris Kringle lives with his wife Ruth and operates his Christmas present shop on a farm near the town of North Peak, Alaska. With his income declining due to children becoming increasingly selfish, the United States government, which has a stake in Chris’s business, sends Captain Jacobs to propose a two-month contract for producing components for a new jet fighter for the military. Despite Chris’s reluctance, the government agents pressure him by threatening to withhold subsidies. However, Ruth helps him regain his confidence.
On Christmas Eve, spoiled rich boy Billy Wenan receives a lump of coal from Chris for his selfish behavior. Seeking revenge, Billy hires a hitman named Jonathan Miller to kill Chris. After failed attempts, Miller forces a Postal Service supervisor to reveal Chris’s address using the letters he receives from children worldwide. Upon arriving in North Peak, Miller infiltrates the farm, kills the US Army guards, and blows up the shop.
A confrontation ensues between Chris and Miller, during which Miller injures Chris with a leg-mounted blade and shoots him in the eye, seemingly killing him. Ruth intervenes and kills Miller. Chris, being immortal, recovers from his injuries. He and Ruth confront Billy, warning him that Chris will come after him or any other child who acts selfishly again. Afterwards, Chris, Ruth, and their elf crew begin rebuilding their workshop with renewed determination.
