Description: F3: Fun and Frustration is a 2022 Indian Telugu-language comedy film written and directed by Anil Ravipudi. Serving as a standalone sequel to F2 (2019), it is the second installment in the Fun and Frustration series produced by Sri Venkateswara Creations. The film features Venkatesh, Varun Tej, Tamannaah, and Mehreen Pirzada reprising their roles from F2, with music composed by Devi Sri Prasad.
Following the success of F2, producer Dil Raju announced its sequel, F3, in February 2019. Principal photography began in December 2020 and concluded in January 2022, with extensive filming taking place in Hyderabad. The production and release of the film faced multiple delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It was finally released in theaters on May 27, 2022, receiving generally positive reviews and achieving commercial success.
The story revolves around Venky, an RTO agent in Hyderabad, who struggles to make ends meet and secretly suffers from night blindness. His friend, Varun Yadav, an orphan with a stutter, devises various schemes to earn money. The duo loses a significant amount of their savings after investing in Harika’s family restaurant. In their pursuit of wealth, Varun mistakes Honey, Harika’s sister, for a wealthy woman and plans to marry her. Venky agrees to fund Varun’s plan but fails to recognize Honey due to his disability.
The pair takes a hefty loan from a local landlord, Pala Baby, by mortgaging their property. After spending a fortune on gifts and cash for Honey, they realize their mistake while Harika’s family loses all their money in the stock market. Pala Baby, who idolizes women, decides against waiving the loan after uncovering Harika’s family’s deceitful tactics. The conflict leads them to the police station, where CI Nagaraju, an honest officer on the verge of losing his job, hatches a plan to raid Commissioner Dileep Chandra’s house to steal illegally obtained cash and diamonds.
They successfully execute the raid and hide the valuables in the trunk of a scrap car. During the operation, they also rescue a kidnapped girl. The film combines humor and chaos, delivering an entertaining narrative.
