Description: In 1835, siblings Op and Ed, adorable donut-shaped furry creatures known as flummels, live on an island in the Galapagos. Ed, a grumpy pessimist, struggles to fit in, while Op’s overenthusiasm often leads to chaos, making them outcasts. When Op’s reckless behavior ruins preparations for the Flower Festival, they are banished. Determined to make amends, Op convinces Ed to venture into the forbidden zone on the far side of the mountain to find extraordinary flowers. There, they discover a mysterious glowing flower that suddenly transports them through a magical portal to modern-day Shanghai.
In Shanghai, Op and Ed meet Clarance, a kind-hearted dog, who helps them understand their situation and vows to assist them in returning home. At a museum, they learn the devastating truth: flummels went extinct in 1835, shortly after they disappeared. Realizing they must save their species, Op and Ed seek a way back. Clarance provides them with another “time flower,” created by his late owner, Dr. Chung, which takes them to the Time Terminal—a place outside of space and time where countless time flowers connect to different historical periods.
However, an accident sends Clarance through a random portal, leaving him lost in an unknown time and place. Alone, Op and Ed encounter “The Extinctables,” a group of peculiar extinct creatures who inhabit the Time Terminal. With their guidance, Op and Ed embark on a mission to rescue Clarance and find a way to return to 1835 to prevent the extinction of the flummels.
