Description: By 1998, Los Angeles had descended into chaos, plagued by crime and corruption, and was placed under the control of the newly established United States Police Force. On August 23, 2000, a devastating earthquake struck the city, causing the San Fernando Valley to flood and transforming the Los Angeles area into an isolated island stretching from Malibu to Anaheim. A theocratic presidential candidate declared that the city had been punished by God for its sins. After being elected president for life, he relocated the capital to his hometown in Lynchburg, Virginia, and transformed the United States into a theocratic dictatorship. Laws were imposed to enforce a “Moral America,” banning tobacco, alcohol, drugs, red meat, firearms, profanity, atheism, non-Christian religions, and extramarital sex. Those who refused to comply faced deportation to Los Angeles Island or execution by electrocution. A fortified wall was built around the island, guarded by armed forces, ensuring permanent exile for those sent there.
In 2013, Cuervo Jones, a Peruvian revolutionary, used a holographic system to brainwash the president’s daughter, Utopia, into stealing the remote control for the “Sword of Damocles,” a satellite superweapon capable of disabling all electronic devices globally. The president intended to use this weapon to dominate the world by crippling his enemies. Utopia escaped Air Force Three and fled to Los Angeles Island to join Cuervo. Now in control of the satellites, Cuervo threatened the president, warning that an allied invasion force from third-world nations was ready to attack. He claimed he could black out the capital and, with the secret world code, plunge the entire planet into darkness if the president tried to stop him.
