**Storyline:**
A man attends an erotic performance at an underground club, where a woman nearly crushes a live tarantula under her high-heel shoe. Adam Bell, a history professor, leads a quiet and monotonous life. Upon renting a film recommended by a colleague, he notices an actor who looks exactly like him. This actor, Anthony Claire, also known as Daniel Saint Claire, becomes Adam’s obsession.
As Adam investigates, he discovers more about Anthony’s life and even finds an old photo of himself with an unidentified woman. Adam begins to stalk Anthony, eventually reaching Anthony’s pregnant wife, Helen, who mistakes Adam for her husband.
