Description: “El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie,” released in 2019, continues the story of Jesse Pinkman after the events of the acclaimed series. In a flashback, Jesse and Mike Ehrmantraut discuss starting over after leaving Walter White’s meth empire. Jesse expresses regret for his past and considers Alaska as a fresh start, though Mike warns that beginning anew may prevent him from making amends.
In the present, Jesse escapes the Brotherhood compound in Todd Alquist’s El Camino. He seeks refuge with his friends Skinny Pete and Badger in Albuquerque, who help him hide the car and provide shelter. The next day, Jesse contacts Old Joe to dispose of the El Camino, but Joe flees upon discovering the vehicle’s LoJack tracking system. Pete devises a plan to make it seem Jesse fled to Mexico by swapping the El Camino for Pete’s Ford Thunderbird. While Badger drives the Thunderbird south, Jesse leaves in Badger’s Pontiac Fiero and learns from the radio news that Walter White died and a woman he poisoned is critically ill.
A flashback reveals Jesse’s captivity, where Todd forces him to help dispose of a cleaning lady’s body after she discovers Todd’s hidden money. In the present, Jesse searches Todd’s apartment for the hidden cash. Two men posing as police officers confront him, but Jesse quickly realizes they are thugs also after the money. To protect himself, Jesse reveals the location of the cash.
