Description: In 2005, *Dus* is a Hindi action thriller film directed by Anubhav Sinha. The story revolves around Siddhant Dheer (Sanjay Dutt), the head of the Anti-Terrorist Cell (ATC), who reflects on the growing threat of terrorism worldwide. He recounts the most challenging seven days of his life when the ATC receives information about a planned attack on May 10, targeting 20,000–25,000 people. The mastermind behind this plot is Jamwaal, a notorious criminal feared by both politicians and law enforcement.
Siddhant initiates an unofficial investigation into Jamwaal’s activities. The plot thickens when Altaf, a goon linked to the case, is arrested after the ATC successfully defuses a bomb threat. Meanwhile, a woman is murdered at her home, and Siddhant learns from Neha (Esha Deol), an undercover officer in Canada, that Jamwaal’s associate, Himmat Mehendi, has been captured by Canadian authorities. Siddhant dispatches his brother Shashank Dheer (Abhishek Bachchan) and Shashank’s partner, Aditya Singh (Zayed Khan), to Canada to interrogate Himmat and uncover Jamwaal’s plan.
As Shashank and Aditya head to Canada after attending Shashank’s sister Anu’s (Dia Mirza) engagement, Anu and her fiancé are kidnapped in exchange for Altaf’s release. This reveals the possibility of a traitor within the ATC. In Canada, Aditya and Shashank face a life-threatening situation when they discover a bomb in their car. Aditya warns Shashank to maintain speed to avoid detonation. Simultaneously, a local police officer named Dan (Sunil Shetty) tries to reconcile with his estranged wife, Priya (Raima Sen), following a tragic incident involving their unborn child.
The film weaves together high-stakes action, suspense, and personal drama, culminating in a race against time to prevent a devastating terrorist attack.
