**Storyline:**
Peng, a carefree goose, lives with his flock in China. His laid-back attitude clashes with Bing, the flock’s leader, who ultimately abandons Peng while he’s asleep. Meanwhile, Chi and Chao, two ducklings journeying to a place called Pleasant Valley, are separated from their flock due to Peng’s reckless actions. Seeking safety from a menacing cat named Banzou, the ducklings join Peng after witnessing him defend them. However, Peng accidentally injures his wing while fleeing, leaving him unable to fly. Frightened and desperate, Peng convinces the ducklings to help him escape predators and return to his flock.
As they embark on a series of adventures, Peng begins to bond with the ducklings. However, when he reunites with his flock, Chi and Chao discover his selfish motives, leading them to part ways. Determined to fly again, Peng meets Carl, a hermit squirrel, who helps him craft a makeshift wing. Inspired, Peng sets out to reconcile with the ducklings. Upon reuniting, they discover that Pleasant Valley is actually a trap—a restaurant that serves ducklings. Peng rescues Chi and Chao, but during their escape, they are separated once more. Banzou reappears, taking the ducklings hostage. In a climactic battle, Peng confronts Banzou but suffers severe injuries. Ultimately, Chi and Chao use a rocket to launch Banzou into the sky, saving themselves and ending his threat.
