**Plot:**
John Milton breaks out of Hell and takes Satan’s weapon, the Godkiller, to hunt down Jonah King, a cult leader who murdered Milton’s daughter and her husband. King plans to sacrifice Milton’s infant granddaughter in a ritual that would unleash Hell on Earth. After tracking and eliminating some of King’s followers in Colorado, Milton learns the ritual will occur at Stillwater, an abandoned Louisiana prison.
During his journey, Milton stops at a diner and encounters Piper Lee, a waitress. After his car breaks down, he sabotages Piper’s 1969 Dodge Charger, offering repairs in exchange for a ride. Piper discovers her boyfriend, Frank, cheating on her and confronts him, resulting in a violent altercation. Milton intervenes and leaves with Piper in Frank’s car, heading to Stillwater. Meanwhile, Satan sends a supernatural operative, The Accountant, to retrieve Milton and the Godkiller. Posing as an FBI agent, The Accountant tricks law enforcement into aiding his pursuit.
At a motel, Milton faces an attack from King’s men, whom he brutally eliminates. The Accountant later ambushes Milton and Piper with the police, leading to a high-speed chase. Using the Godkiller, Milton forces The Accountant off a bridge. Reaching King’s location, a former church, Milton and Piper are captured by the cult. Milton is shot in the eye and left for dead, but he survives, defeats the cult, and chases King’s RV in the Charger. Piper escapes, engages King in a fight, and leaps onto Milton’s car as King disables the vehicle by shooting its engine.
