**Storyline:**
The story begins in the fictional village of Pondolim in Goa, where a new police officer joins the recently established police station. While exploring the station with a constable, he notices a man named Vijay Salgaonkar sitting quietly. The officer inquires about the man, and the constable confirms his identity. The narrative then shifts to a flashback as Vijay closes his eyes.
Vijay Salgaonkar, an orphan who left school after the fourth grade, now runs a successful cable TV business in Goa. He lives with his wife, Nandini, and their two daughters—Anju, his adopted daughter studying in Class 12, and Anu, a Class 6 student. Vijay has a passion for watching movies and often uses his knowledge from films to help people in his community, earning their respect and admiration.
During a nature camp attended by Anju, a hidden camera records her undressing in the bathroom. The perpetrator, Sameer “Sam” Deshmukh, son of Goa Police Inspector General Meera Deshmukh, uses the video to blackmail Anju for sexual favors. One evening, Sam arrives at their house, where Nandini confronts him after being alerted by her daughter. Despite Nandini’s pleas, Sam refuses to delete the video unless his demands are met. In a desperate attempt to protect her daughter, Anju strikes Sam with a lead pipe, accidentally killing him. The family buries his body in their backyard, with young Anu witnessing the event.
When Vijay returns home, Nandini informs him of the incident. Determined to protect his family, Vijay devises a clever plan to shield them from the police investigation.
