Description: The movie “Dragon Nest: Warriors’ Dawn,” released in 2014, is set fifty years before the events of the game. It unfolds in the land of Alteria, divided among humans, elves, goblinoids (referred to as “beasts”), and dragons. Decades earlier, humans and elves had driven the beasts and dragons into the Dark Mountains. However, with the beasts defeated, humans and elves eventually turned against each other, oblivious to the rising evil in the Dark Mountains. This evil is centered around a powerful gem embedded in the chest of the dormant Black Dragon Karas, who unites the beasts into a formidable army.
The story follows Lambert, a bold and adventurous human boy, and his two dogs, who encounter a group of beasts on a raid. They are saved at the last moment by a trio of renowned adventurers: Barnac, a skilled mercenary and captain of a flying ship; Geraint, a famous dragon fighter; and Argenta, Geraint’s sister. They journey to the human kingdom of Saint Heaven, where two Elven maidens, Princess Nerwin and her companion Liya, seek the king’s alliance against the beasts. Lambert meets Liya while trying to acquire a sword, and they, along with the adventurers, defend the city from a beast attack until Imperial Knights led by Velskud arrive to restore order. Faced with the imminent threat, the king finally agrees to the alliance.
As the new allies prepare their forces, Liya and Lambert notice a shadow near the king’s dining hall. They secretly enter a meeting where the king, his advisor Terramai, sorceress Karacule, Princess Nerwin, the adventurers, and Velskud discuss the growing danger of Karas and the power of the gem. The movie sets the stage for an epic struggle against the forces of darkness.
