Description: Doraemon: Nobita’s Dinosaur, released in 1980, is an adventurous tale that follows Nobita and his friends. The story begins when Suneo displays a dinosaur fossil claw to everyone except Nobita. Feeling left out and frustrated, Nobita claims he will find a living dinosaur. Despite Doraemon’s refusal to help, Nobita digs on a hillside, only to be punished by a nearby landlord who forces him to fill a hole. While working, Nobita discovers an egg-shaped stone and uses a time wrap to restore it to its original form. After warming the egg, it hatches into a plesiosaur named Piisuke.
Rather than showing Piisuke to his friends immediately, Nobita waits for the dinosaur to grow. However, as Piisuke becomes too large to hide, Nobita and Doraemon move him to a nearby lake. Fearing discovery, they transport Piisuke back to the Late Cretaceous period, 100 million years ago. During their journey, they encounter a mysterious attacker who previously tried to buy Piisuke from Nobita. They manage to escape but later realize they accidentally left Piisuke on the North American shore. Determined to retrieve him, Nobita and his friends travel to the past, but their time machine crashes upon arrival.
The group lands on the North American shore and finds Piisuke. However, the time machine is damaged, and they must return it to Nobita’s desk in Japan to fix it. During their journey, they face numerous challenges, including encounters with various dinosaur species like Ornithomimus and Apatosaurus. At one point, a pack of Pteranodons attacks them, destroying their bamboocopters. They are rescued by a group of dinosaur hunters who reveal they work for a 24th-century fossil collector named Dollmanstein. The story combines adventure, friendship, and the challenges of navigating a prehistoric world.
