Description: After watching a TV show about humanoid birds reportedly seen in Africa, Nobita dreams of flying with wings. He creates wooden wings after Doraemon declines to assist him, but his attempts to fly repeatedly fail. While helping Shizuka recover her pet canary, they witness a portal opening in the sky, from which a humanoid bird named Gusuke emerges, riding an airplane. Gusuke introduces himself as a resident of “Birdopia.” Doraemon, Nobita, and Shizuka help repair Gusuke’s airplane, and Nobita quickly befriends him. As Gusuke prepares to return home, Gian and Suneo capture him and take his plane. The trio follows them through the portal.
