Description: Doraemon: Nobita and the Robot Kingdom, released in 2002, follows the adventures of Doraemon and his friends as they encounter a mysterious robot boy from a futuristic ordering machine. After navigating a challenging time-space maze, they arrive on the boy’s planet, where they face numerous trials. Along the way, many treasures are lost, and the group visits Dr. Capek’s house. There, they learn about Queen Jane’s “Robot Reproduction Plan,” which aims to erase robot emotions, a scheme rooted in the loss of her vengeful father and supported by Commander Dister.
The young Poko sets off alone to rescue Maria, who has been captured by the Queen’s army. Although the group manages to save the boy, Doraemon is captured and imprisoned, where he meets Maria. Using the “tickling solution,” Doraemon triumphs over the “Invincible King” in a robot arena battle and reunites with his friends. Together, Doraemon and Poko journey to Rainbow Valley, where they accidentally save Queen Jenna from a deadly plot orchestrated by Dister, who has now assumed the throne.
The group and the people of the robot kingdom confront Dister in Rome, only to discover he has transformed into a giant robot. With the help of the “universal steering wheel,” Nobita takes control of the “Robot Arena” and defeats the robot, turning it into a rocket that heads toward the planet’s moon. Thanks to the delivery machine, Doraemon reunites with his friends and Poko’s mother, while also uncovering that Dister is Dr. Capek’s younger brother. In the end, peace and happiness are restored to the robot kingdom.
