Doors presents an intriguing concept: over a million mysterious doors suddenly appear across the planet. The first, titled *Lockdown* and directed by Jeff Desom, follows four high school students confined to a library for a test when a door appears in their school. Except for the broadcaster, Martin Midnight (David Hemphill), who provides sardonic commentary throughout some segments, the characters do not overlap as the film progresses through time. *Lockdown* occurs on the first day of the doors’ appearance, *Knockers* takes place 15 days later, and *Lamaj* unfolds months after the event. The final segment feels detached from any specific timeline. This chronological progression is the only way viewers can gauge how the doors have impacted society, as the segments remain largely isolated and self-contained. Only *Knockers* offers a glimpse into the broader world affected by this enigmatic event.
