Description: “Dog Gone Trouble” (2019) tells the story of Trouble, a pampered pet living a luxurious life in a mansion with his elderly, wealthy owner, Mrs. Sarah Vanderwhoozie. Under the watchful care of her loyal butler, James, and renowned animal trainer, Cesar Millan, Trouble enjoys his privileged existence. However, his life takes an unexpected turn when Mrs. Vanderwhoozie passes away due to natural causes, leaving Trouble unaware of her death.
The plot thickens when Claire and Norbert, Mrs. Vanderwhoozie’s greedy niece and nephew, arrive to claim their inheritance. While disposing of her belongings and planning to sell valuable items, they accidentally get rid of Trouble, whom they immediately dislike. To inherit their aunt’s fortune, they must bond with and care for Trouble within three days, as stipulated by their aunt’s lawyer, Mr. Macbain. Reluctantly, they hire Thurman Sanchez, an expert animal tracker, to find Trouble before the deadline.
Meanwhile, Trouble escapes from the truck carrying his owner’s belongings and learns the truth about her passing. After accidentally disrupting a group of squirrels’ nut storage, they retaliate by stealing his collar, leaving him lost and alone. In the city, Trouble meets Rousey, a stray dog, and together they navigate urban challenges, including a chaotic chase through a restaurant owned by celebrity chef Ludo Lefebvre.
During his journey, Trouble encounters domestic dogs—Norm, Gizmo, Bella, and Tippy—who help him find temporary shelter with Zoe Bell, an aspiring singer working as a pizza delivery girl. As Zoe prepares for a singing competition, she bonds with Trouble and creates a new collar for him, all while concealing him from her landlord.
The story unfolds with humor, adventure, and heartwarming moments as Trouble adapts to his new reality and forms unexpected connections.
