Description: DJ Tillu is a 2022 Indian Telugu-language romantic crime comedy film directed by Vimal Krishna in his debut. The movie is co-written by Krishna and Siddhu Jonnalagadda, with production by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi under Sithara Entertainments. It features Jonnalagadda alongside Neha Shetty, Prince Cecil, and Brahmaji. Originally set for release on 14 January 2022, the film was delayed indefinitely due to the COVID-19 pandemic in India. The story follows DJ Tillu, also known as Bala Gangadhar Tilak, a young man aspiring to become a DJ. He meets Radhika at a club and instantly falls for her. After a brief interaction, he drops her off at her apartment, unaware that she has a boyfriend, Rohit, whom she hides from Tillu. Later, Radhika discovers Rohit’s infidelity when she overhears another girl with him over the phone. Seeking revenge, she begins a relationship with Tillu.
Weeks later, on Tillu’s birthday, Rohit tries to expose Radhika and Tillu’s relationship. In response, Radhika reveals Rohit’s affair and decides to leave him. As she packs her belongings, Rohit, consumed by anger and jealousy, attempts to assault her. In self-defense, Radhika pushes him, causing him to hit his head on a wall and die from the injury.
Panicked, Radhika calls Tillu for help, and he rushes to her apartment despite being at his birthday party. Initially angry, Tillu calms down and asks for directions to the bathroom. While heading there, Radhika mentions the flush isn’t working and directs him to another bathroom. As he exits, Tillu notices photos of Rohit and discovers his lifeless body in the apartment.
The film blends romance, crime, and comedy as the characters navigate the consequences of their actions.
