**Storyline:**
After the tragic death of his father in a car accident, troubled teenager Kale Brecht struggles to cope. His emotions boil over when he punches his teacher during a confrontation at school, leading to a court sentence of three months of house arrest. Confined to his home with an ankle monitor and proximity sensor, Kale initially enjoys his punishment, spending his days watching TV and playing video games. However, his mother, Julie, frustrated by his attitude, cuts off his cable and internet access.
Bored and restless, Kale starts observing his neighborhood through binoculars. He becomes particularly interested in his attractive new neighbor, Ashley Carlson, and the mysterious Robert Turner, a single man living next door. Over time, Kale begins to suspect Turner of being involved in criminal activity. His suspicions grow stronger when he notices Turner driving a 1960s Ford Mustang with a dented fender, matching the description of a car linked to a serial killer on the news.
Determined to uncover the truth, Kale befriends Ashley and teams up with his best friend Ronnie to spy on Turner. Their investigation takes a dark turn when they witness strange behavior, including a woman frantically running around Turner’s house before seemingly leaving in her car.
