Description: Lee, a yoga instructor, moves into a client’s house with her husband Tim, a gym teacher, and their 3-year-old son Jude for a few weeks while the homeowner is away. While exploring the property, Tim discovers a gun and a bone in the backyard. Initially, he considers digging to see if a body is buried there, but Lee persuades him it’s a bad idea.
When Lee and Jude leave for the weekend to stay with her parents, allowing Tim to focus on the family’s taxes, he invites his friends—Ray, Phil, Adam, and Paul—over to the house. The next morning, a neighbor warns Tim against digging, mentioning the site was once the “Chicano Hall of Fame.” Later, Max returns for her purse and finds Tim digging again. She joins him, and they uncover a plastic bag filled with bones.
Meanwhile, Lee visits her sister Squiggy and brother-in-law Bob after confiding in her mother about her lost sense of identity beyond being a mother and wife. Back at the house, Phil suspects Tim is cheating on Lee when he sees him with Max. Tim and Max go out to dinner, where Tim admits his marriage has struggled since they had a child.
Lee goes to a bar alone and meets Ben. When Ben gets into a fight and is injured, she accompanies him to see Alicia, a medical student, to treat his wound. As Tim and Max smoke marijuana at the house, Ben prepares dinner for Lee.
