Description: “Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul” (2017) follows the Heffley family as they embark on a chaotic road trip to celebrate Susan’s grandmother’s 90th birthday. Determined to leave this humiliation behind, Greg discovers that his favorite internet star, Mac Digby, will be at the Player Expo near their destination. He secretly plans to sneak away from the family to attend the event and redeem himself. At a motel, Greg retrieves his phone, but his older brother Rodrick uncovers his plan. Meanwhile, Greg encounters a quirky family, the “Beardos,” leading to a series of chaotic misadventures. As the trip progresses, the Beardos become obsessed with getting revenge on Greg after a misunderstanding. The family’s journey grows even more complicated when Manny wins a piglet at a fair, and Mr. Beardo spots Greg, igniting a wild chase.
